Detailer / Yard Hand

Full Time Turnbull Motors is home to Warragul Nissan & Warragul Mitsubishi. We are excited to be expanding our team. A full time Detailer and Yard Hand position has become available in our detailing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to fill this position in our award-winning dealership.

The successful applicant will complete detailing duties in addition to some general yard work and dealership cleaning inside and out, including daily washing and vacuuming of cars on display, assisting in preparing vehicles for display after arrival/trade, day-to-day support in cleaning the inside and outside of the dealership.

It is essential to have strong attention to detail, be able to work under little to no supervision and be able to take direction and constructive feedback. The successful candidate will possess the ability to demonstrate reliability and commitment in this role.

Skills & Experience

As an Administration Assistant, your primary responsibilities will focus on managing processing vehicle deals, handling the registration and transfer of vehicles, and providing general administrative support. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and accurate processing of vehicle transactions, managing the vehicle administration aspects of the dealership’s operations, and offering day-to-day administrative assistance to ensure operational efficiency.

The successful applicant will provide general admin support, including daily banking, reception duties including customer relations support, vehicle licensing and general housekeeping.

It is essential to have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, plus the ability to liaise effectively with team members, dealership employees, visitors, and customers. The successful candidate will possess the ability to demonstrate reliability and commitment in this fast-paced role.

  • Experience as qualified light vehicle motor mechanic.
  • Working with Mitsubishi and Nissan advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to diagnose vehicles.
  • Ability to complete large mechanical work i.e. replace engines.
  • Roadworthy Licence advantageous but not  essential. 
  • Ability and willingness to learn and venture out of your comfort zone.
  • Manual driver’s license.
  • Happy and helpful attitude is a must!

The Part-Time Finance and Insurance Officer, based inWarragul, plays an essential role in facilitating finance and insurancesolutions for customers purchasing vehicles from Turnbull Motors. This positioninvolves promoting finance and insurance products, assisting customers insecuring suitable financial solutions, maximizing revenue through finance andinsurance sales, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role is part time: 10-15 Hrs per week.

  • Minimum five years experience with a supplier of automotive finance in the roles of field operations and financial management.
